Our Process
-
During our initial consultation we will discuss your wants, needs and budget for your project.
-
The design consultation is a meeting to talk about the finer details of your design, such as the style of your garden, features, materials, plants and who will use the space and how.
-
Dragonfly collates all the information given to us from the design consultation into a comprehensive design brief.
-
We will visit your garden to collate information on practical and legal aspects of your site, dimensions, safety and existing services.
-
From the design brief Dragonfly will design your outdoor space, show as a 2D plan and with accompanying perspective drawings if required.
-
The concept design is discussed in detail and amendments are noted. Materials and plants are discussed in further detail.
-
All amendments are applied to the final design, materials, and build specifications are applied to a scaled plan. This plan can be used by your contractor to cost up your build.
-
Some projects require larger scaled plans showing all plants, quantities and planting positioning. A plant list is provided for your contractor to order and schedule delivery efficiently.
-
Optional detailed report on the care of your new and existing plants.
